This plant is very eye-catching for its sculptural formation, and looks very similar to real bamboo trees.

Mostly lucky bamboo plants also known as ribbon plants or friendship plants. Dracaena Sanderiana, is the botanical name of this plant. Lucky bamboo plant is originally native to West Africa, and it belongs to the Asparagaceae family. A grown-up lucky bamboo plant can heighten upto 1 to 3 ft. tall.   • Soil: For lucky bamboo plants can grow admirably in a well drained soil. However, you can grow this plant using only Mineral water or rainwater. In that case, make sure that the roots of the planet are well covered in the water and also give them support by enough pebbles. 
  • Sunlight: Lucky bamboo plants require an adequate amount of sunlight. It needs indirect sunlight, because direct sunlight can burn the leaves. So, place your plant in a place where it is in exposure to some indirect sunlight.   
  • Water:  If you want to grow plants in soil, always keep the plant soil slightly damp. Lucky bamboo plant does not need too much water. Besides, if you are growing your plant in the water, replace the water every 7 to 10 days. 
  • Fertilizer: Lucky bamboo plants do not need fertilizer frequently. You can feed your bamboo plant a tiny amount of any water-soluble fertilizer every couple of months. 
  • Propagation: You can propagate this plant by cutting a parent stalk and replant them.

Lucky bamboo plant’s problems:

  •  In case you're growing your plant in the water and the water turns black, it indicates rotting of roots.
  • Brown or yellow leaf is a sign that the water you are using has chemicals, or your plant is in direct exposure with the sun. 
  • If your plant is having mushy stalks, it eventually indicates that your plant is dying. Immediately change your water or re-pot it.
